Writing Practices is a unique one year, post-graduate certificate program offered by The Capilano Review Writing Institute, within the College system. Participants in this program have access to group discussions, tutorials, seminars, lectures, and readings given by Capilano College faculty, invited faculty, and a Writer-in-Residence, all of whom are professionals in their field.

The Writer's Studio is an intensive, part-time, one-year program that results in a certificate of Creative Writing from Simon Fraser University. It is a dynamic blend of courses, readings, and manuscript development consultations with a mentor and a workshopping group.
